Our Qualified Nurses

Provide an essential high quality standard of care

Our nurses assist veterinarians with;

  • examination and sedation of patients to be treated
  • patient monitoring
  • under guidance from veterinarians administer post operative care
  • administering medication to patients as prescribed by our veterinarians
  • ultrasound examinations and x-rays
We are proud at Franklin Vets that our nurses have achieved their Certificates and Diplomas in Veterinary Nursing. 

We are lucky to have this group who have worked hard to achieve these qualifications - they have learned many skills including anaesthetic monitoring, radiography and intensive care to add to the dedication they have to their roles in caring for the cats, dogs and small pets in clinic.
