We are looking for a dynamic, client focused dairy vet to lead a successful 3 vet branch of Franklin Vets. With the current manager moving into the CEO role in early 2012, this is an ideal opportunity for a vet looking to develop management skills in a supportive environment that encourages new ideas, and a proactive approach to farm practice.

No small animal requirement, including after-hours

Company wide expertise in nutrition, mastitis and reproduction
A minimum of 3 years experience and expertise in dairy cattle medicine is essential. Ongoing support and personal development from our experienced team is assured. An interest in undertaking training in nutrition and farm management consultancy in the future would also be an advantage.
The main caseload for this role will be dairy cattle, with some dry-stock, but interests in equine and companion animals may be catered for.
Our quiet after-hours is evenly split, 1 in 5 roster, with a day-off in lieu of a weekend on-call, provides plenty of time to enjoy the close by beaches of the Coromandel peninsula, with the bright lights of central Auckland and Hamilton.
