Vet Nurse - Te Kauwhata

Franklin Vets is a well-established Veterinary practice with 11 clinics servicing the South Auckland, North Waikato, Coromandel and Hauraki Plains.

Due to a growing CA workload and an increase in client numbers, we are working on plans to expand our premises and services, and need an enthusiastic and experienced diploma-qualified (or higher) Vet Nurse to work alongside our experienced Te Kauwhata team. Our clinic has a full range of services (x-ray, CBC and Biochem, surgery).

Your warm and friendly manner, high level of customer service and ability to be calm and efficient under pressure will see you supporting a motivated, caring team who are committed to delivering a very high standard of veterinary care. Ideally, you will have one to two years of nursing experience and proficiency with Ezyvet would be a bonus.

Responsibilities include:

Providing general and surgical nursing assistance
Admitting/discharging patients
Nurse consults
Ordering
Puppy preschool
Retail sales
Providing reception cover
