Dave Douglas

Born and raised on a dairy farm in the Waikato, Dave has spent all his working life in rural sales, with the first 14 years within various rural and dairy company retail outlets throughout the Waikato. On returning from his OE, he did a 3-year stint with Fruitfed Supplies in Pukekohe, then joined Merial Animal Health (which eventually became Boehringer Animal Health) and was a senior Territory Manager for 17 years. He looked after Vet Clinics and farmers in the Waikato, BOP and Northland.

Dave joined the Franklin Vets team in May 2023 and has worked with many of the farmer clients during his 17 years at BI. The knowledge of anthelmintics & parasite control he has built over his time with BI is of great assistance in helping our clients navigate animal health programs and resistance issues.
