Why does my dog need vaccinations?

Protect your dogs from serious and contagious diseases with timely vaccinations.
Even well-cared-for animals can be exposed through other pets or the environment—via air, dust, or bodily fluids.

Start early: Puppies can begin vaccinations at 6 weeks.
Stay protected: Boosters are needed throughout life.

Core vaccinations we use:

  • Nobivac DHPPi - Protects against Distemper, Hepatitis (CAV-1), Parvovirus, Parainfluenza, Canine Cough.
  • Nobivac Lepto - Protects against Leptospirosis (spread via contaminated water).

Common diseases

  • Parvovirus - Severe vomiting and diarrhoea, often fatal in young dogs.
  • Distemper - Wide-ranging symptoms including coughing, vomiting, and neurological issues.
  • Hepatitis - Liver disease causing jaundice and appetite loss.
  • Canine Cough - Harsh, persistent cough; rarely fatal but very disruptive.
  • Leptospirosis - Fatal bacterial disease affecting the liver/kidneys; transmissible to humans.

Why does my cat need vaccinations?

Protect your cat from contagious and potentially fatal diseases with regular vaccinations. Even indoor cats can be exposed through air, dust, or contact with other animals.

Kittens should start vaccinations at 9 weeks, with boosters throughout life. Our vets will guide you on the right schedule.

We follow the World Small Animal Vet Association guidelines and use Nobivac® Tricat Trio, a live vaccine protecting against:
• Feline Panleucopaenia Virus (FPLV)
• Feline Herpesvirus (FHV)
• Feline Calicivirus (FCV)
This vaccine reduces symptoms, virus replication, and shedding. Immunity lasts 3 years.
