Dr Matt Wong BVSc

Matt joined Franklin Vets in April 2017 and is the Lead Companion Animal Veterinarian at our Te Kauwhata clinic, as well as the Waikato Regional Manager for our Companion Animal Clinics. He enjoys the variety that veterinary practice offers, particularly consulting, surgery, and building long-term relationships with clients and their pets.

In 2026, Matt joined the Franklin Vets Board. He is passionate about developing people, advancing clinical standards, and helping shape the business's long-term success and sustainability.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his family, fishing and diving, and spending time with his dog, Whiskey, and cat, Artemis.
