Kerra moved from Scotland to New Zealand with her partner Ally in 2005 and joined the Franklin Vets team in Waiuku that same year. She began her vet nursing career in 1992 and has enjoyed seeing the profession grow and evolve over the decades.

At the clinic, Kerra brings years of experience and a calm, practical approach to her work. She enjoys supporting the wider Waiuku community and being part of a dedicated team that shares her commitment to animal health and wellbeing.

With a strong passion for equine care, Kerra spends much of her time outside work with her three horses — Hamish, Po, and Blair — who keep both her and Ally busy. She feels lucky to share her love of horses with her partner and enjoys the rewarding balance between work and farm life.
