With the weather turning cooler & the days becoming shorter, we will hopefully start to see the incidence of many summertime diseases trending downward. If you have backyard chickens, you may notice egg numbers dropping off as they begin moulting (see article in link below).

With the rain starting you may also find your paddocks getting wet & puggy, so now’s the time to consider introducing footbaths for your sheep, goats and alpaca. Follow the link to our Foot Bathing handout.
