Cattery

For peace of mind when you are away, our Boarding Cattery on-site at our Pukekohe Veterinary Hospital offers modern purpose-built facilities and care tailored to your cat’s specific needs, monitored by qualified professionals.

Our purpose-built cattery facilities accommodate up to two cats per unit, with only cats from the same household housed together. Cattery staff are trained to look for signs of ill health and will report any concerns to our veterinary staff for assessment.

One advantage of having a Boarding Cattery at a vet clinic is that routine procedures can be done while you are away on holiday, avoiding the need for a further visit (or two) when you return. This may include dental work, grooming, or even desexing, and you'll need to let us know if you would like any of these services performed.

Prices

$25.90 per day – Non-peak

$27.90 per day – Peak (Friday 20^th Dec 2025– Monday 5^th January 2026), public holidays, public holiday weekends from Friday through to Tuesday - no drop-off or pick-up on public holidays.

We charge a daily rate. A day is charged regardless of what time the cat is dropped off with us, but if you pick it up before 10.00 am, you are not charged for that day.

There is an additional $2.50 per day medication surcharge for cats that require daily medication.

Note: All cats coming to our cattery need to be vaccinated and up-to-date with flea/worm treatments. If you are on a special diet, please bring it with you.
