After graduating from Massey University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science,  Kelly moved to Australia with her now fiance for 5 years, working as a vet in both mixed and equine practices in Victoria and Queensland. In 2020 it was time to move home, and she initially went back into equine work before making the move solely to companion animal practice with Franklin Vets in 2021. Kelly enjoys connecting with people and their pets, the science of vet medicine, and she is keen to further her interests in dermatology and ophthalmology.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, friends and her little Aussie import cat, exercising, and getting into the outdoors.
